Hamilton would have had no way of knowing that a large portion of legislators would want to use tax policy as a means of controlling what the populace did.Seems as if tax codes are their favorite means of controlling that which they would N-E-V-E-R be able to win at the ballot box. While all of us who realise the gov't has to have funds to operate, the left has managed to do a better job at winning the minds of those without the drive to do for themselves. When the gov't is your source of income, you'll do what THEY want. The problem is too many have been led to believe they are OWED something. Hamilton would be spinning in the grave as well.

Minorities. Its not about judging them by the content of the character as MLK wanted. Its about giving them a head start in anything they do.
Whenever I hear minorities whine, I always wonder why I never hear it from asians. They were treated very bad coming over from China and building our railroads. Now they make more money than the average white person. I don't see all that many complaining about working for the white man. Why are they different?

They are obviously of a different mindset. If you talk to REAL Africans who have come here to make a better life, they will almost without exception wonder aloud,WHAT is wrong with the native-born black people here? They not realize how good they actually have it? I've never been able to answer that question.

No kidding! My mom works with a good few of native Africans and that is exactly what they think! Affirmative Action and welfare ruined our black population.
