Third Party

Your comments on the defects of our government are warranted to a point.

I have been resident in the British Isles for most of the last 30 years. Observing politics here has led me to the conclusion that the U.S. two party system is better than the alternatives. Britain has 3 major parties. The 3rd (originally a breakaway from the Labour Party) is the Liberal Democrat Party. They sometimes gain power in local elections areas, but have never gained power nationally, nor are they ever likely to. The more Parties the more confusion.
In the U.S. look at what the experiment wreaked upon us. Ross Perot gave us Bill Clinton!
I believe that it is best to work for change from within that Party that most closely represents you beliefs.

Thank you for your respectful reply and I fully understand what you are saying about how Ross Perot gave us Slick Willie Clinton. I, in fact, voted for Ross Perot twice, because he clearly represented my views better than the competing candidates in the 1990's. I will vote Libertarian this time around because there are no real distinguishable differences in the three that we are left with. The true patriots of the Republican Party were sold out by the Republican Party establishment. Thank You--M. Jerome Ennis

GOD how I'd love a viable third party. Sadly, i percieve intense resistance from the MEDIA, the ENTRENCHED POWERS, and surprisingly, the POPULACE itself. I don't know; we love good vs. bad, team A vs. team B, cowboys vs. injuns, etc. Its deep in our culture. Its gonna be very hard.

As far as this third party issue; I would offer the most creative (if insane) solution yet:

Thanks for reading. I got fired up a while back and started this blog site, but do not get much play. I post a lot on Town Hall's in commenting on their posts, and have a lot of posts there. I post as Greyhawk in Al.

As for third parties, after this November 4 election, which I am pushing McCain/Palin, because any other vote or non-vote is a vote for Obama, the Scariest Candidate we have ever had, as he would be a Rubber Stamp for this Liberal Marxist congress of ours.'

But, you bet, after Novermber, 08, it is balls to the walls for a viable third party.

I am suggesting a third party that parts from the entire establishment, and has as a platform to Dismantle the Governmental Bureaucracy as it now exists, in it's entirety.

While I like some of the Libertarian party stuff, they still would leave too much bureaucracy in place, I am afraid, and I also do not Approve of or Advocate for Total and Complete Legalization of Drugs. There are too many very dangerous drugs on the streets now. I am for Cleaning Up The Streets of Gangs and Drug Trafficking. I am for Enforcing Borders, Ports and other Entry Points to the U.S. I am for enforcing laws against the hiring of illegals, selling real property to illegals, and renting to illegal aliens, and of course No Illegals Should be Getting Public Assistance, and many Home Grown Deadbeats also need to be taken off Public Assistance, and would be when the Departments and Agencies that run these giveaway programs are abolished.
