Lukewarm Conservatives?

I see the values of the GOP being as strong as ever.

Could you give some specifics?

I guess I should be more specific and address this as McCain's values and when the GOP gives him the nomination, won't we be supporting his stand on the issues to a large degree?

This is what we will be voting to support unless he changes his stance:

Stem cell research which takes the lives of unborn babies.

He supports amnesty for illegals.

He does not support a federal marriage amendment but does support the state handling traditional marriage issues.

Those are a few. I don't believe that all of the GOP agree with his stand on the conservative issues but I do think we will need to keep a close eye on all McCain brings to this presidency should he be nominated and win.

We need to be ready to fight for the issues that define the conservative's viewpoint, even if he takes a more moderate approach.

In his favor, he is pro-life, he is strong on foreign policy and homeland security. Most of all, he is more conservative than Hilary or Obama...and if nominated will more than likely get many conservative votes to keep the liberals out.
