Love the Walla Walla, Washington Comment

Bob, just wanted to stop by, read what you wrote, and tell you that I agree. You made sense and the format was nothing like advertised. I also wanted to tell you that the Walla Walla, Washington took me back to my childhood years when I first heard of that town in a cartoon....I believe it was on the Bugs Bunny show when cats wanted to get a bird and they found wonderful ways to get into the house. One was a vaccum salesman from the "Hi Ho Silver Cleaning Company of Walla Walla, Washington." When I read that comment of yours, I just had to laugh to myself. Thanks.

Yes That is exactly where I first heard the phrase "Walla Walla Washington." Sylvestor's wife had hhim baby sit their child, a mouse, brought to them by mistake from a drunken stork. and yes, Sylvestor and Tweety were part of the Bugs Bunny brand of cartoons, Warner Brothers. You know, as a kid, I never found Bugs, Tweety, all that funny. But as an adult, watcthing them with my own kids, nothing has ever made me laugh so hard that I could not stop as much as these insanely brilliant things.

Sidenote: Years after falling in love with that cartoon I took a trip to Washington only to find that Walla Walla was a real city. I'd had no idea. I thought the cartoon invented it.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your own blog.Keep up the good work!
