We have HUGE oil reserves in oil shale, the largest shale reserves in the world. About 2 or 3 trillion barrels.

Of course, we can't exploit them because of the enviro-Nazis.

Given that the recent run-up in oil prices was based largely on speculation (as opposed to supply and demand), I (too) wonder when this announcement will start to bring down the price.
