Great essay. I really enjoyed it.

Here's a kicker to consider: as a conservative, I will never vote for Giuliani no matter what, even if the Dems resurrect and run Lenin. I will NEVER reward the GOP if they nominate that flaming a-hole; his admin would make Bush's look like a stroll down Memory Lane.

I could vote for Mitt, and you're right that Thompson's Phantom Candidacy is starting to smell like 5-day-old sushi.

No one wants to vote for Hamlet; he died at the end of the play.
