Nothing Comes From Nothing

I am there with you. I originally thought that the experience argument would be out b/c of Palin. But now, I think the experience argument is even stronger b/c of Palin. Obama's lack of experience has now been emphasized even more. Plus, Obama's campaign is looking more and more ridiculous when they get all pissy about the RNC making fun of Obama for being a "community organizer" even though Obama and his buddies were making fun of Palin for being a "small town mayor."

Armanius, speaking of getting all
pissy, this article
http://wcbstv.com/campaign08/bon.jovi.obama.2.811125.html
quotes Obama as saying,"We're not going to be bullied, we're not going to be smeared, we're not going to be lied about," ... "I don't believe in coming in second."
Just as Palin said in her speech, victory is never mentioned with respect to the war in Iraq which is OK to lose, but when it comes to his campaign he says "I don't believe in coming in second."
Does he espouse country first or career first? Perhaps we should find a focus group to decide that for us.

Stefano: Obama's false outrage
Yes, Gov. Palin is totally on point. While Obama will deny it, his Iraq policy would have lead to defeat in Iraq. I wish O'Reilly had asked Obama about it during the interview, and asked Obama straight on if it is acceptable to Obama to lose the war in Iraq.

Rarely
do I disagree with Charlie. But I do here. This election will be decided by a group that votes for who the "feel" is the best person. And Palin affects people's "feelings" very strongly. I think it was a stroke of genius.

Dave, I agree with you on that point.
The independent undecided folks are frequently people who just can't decide things, so they vote present like Obama. NO...just kidding. But the truth is that feelings probably are the thing that moves them one way or the other as the final day approaches. I just don't see how these folks can feel comfortable pulling the lever or punching the hole for Obama/Biden when they have a known quantity in McCain.
Now Obama says running his campaign gives him superior executive experience. That statement is proof positive that even he recognizes the pathetic weakness of his experience quotient.

running a campaign?
hilarious, but equally sad that so many kool-aid drinkers will go, yeah, that's right!

Experience
I lived in PA until I was 7. I feel that if I were on the VP ticket that I could carry the state. If I hear Biden talk about how he is from Scranton one more time, I am going to scream. You moved when you were 10.
On topic now. I rarely disagree with Charles, but on this topic I do. I have thought over and over the experience issue with all of the candidates.
What is Hillary's experience? Being a Senator and first lady? Dodging sniper fire?
Obama chose Biden to make him look better on foreign affairs. Okay, what exactly does Biden do on these committees? And Obama is ready because he has ran his campaign for 18 months. Wouldn't that make him experience to be a CEO/Vice President/President of a company?
As for Obama, not coming in second, good grief. I have been a big fan of Bon Jovi since the 80's. I remember when he was supporting Gore and I was bummed. I told myself as long as they did not do any political garbage at their concerts, I would still be a fan.
