I am one of the 60% of the voting public that lean Right on some issues and Left on others. The ones with the numbers to actually elect parties and their candidates to power.

I vote Republican because it is the only viable party serious about the war on terror and for me, that issue supercedes all others. Rather sad that I am more loyal and support the party of Republicans than some conservatives, huh?

And my premise is about the illogical idea that a a "true" conservative can win the White House but can't seem to win the Republican nomination.
