Overcoming Obama

Excellent observation

It has given me pause for thought many times since my younger days. My personal feeling are we, as a society became so spoiled by the freedoms and economic boom that we have enjoyed the last two generations of Americans, that we have lost our roots. A refugee from Serbia who migrated here after Clinton carpet bombed their country. She worked in the same place as I did and we talked many times of the real horrors that infest much of the world. She visited a religious site on the web daily. The old adage "there are no athiests in foxholes" is as true as anything ever said. I do not care how anyone tries to deny praying, just in case they may be wrong, and then having the cowardice to maintain their atheism after the fire fight is over and the underwear is changed. We are coming into a time in America that may be put in the "strange and mysterious ways" catagory. We have to be slapped back to our religeous roots, whatever that religion may be. As I have said many times, there is only one sect of one religian that does not have a version of the Ten Commandments in them. Only strict Sharia laws forbid tolerance of others beliefs. If a tyrant like Sadaam Hussein can have a Christion chief of staff and let Christians practice their religian in that oppresive setting, imagine the hatred that must rage inside the Taliban and their ilk! We have to immediately put aside all differences that will soon sound extremely petty and get the basic principles of Christ back into our lives. It does not matter if you believe he is the son of God or a prophet sent by God, His commandments holds true. Love thine neighbor, love thine enemy and help those less fortunate than you. I can't seem to remember the government being a middle man in this equasion.
