And Bush

Did NOT let Libby go free...

The guy still has to pay how much money?

Selective memories...

BTW

I have a new post up. I'd be curious of your thoughts.

Hey V Daddy!

Isn' it a crack up?...

Have you noticed how Hill can't seem to get anywhere without Slick?...She can't get traction, so she has to drag him along to get the "groopies" out...

This is truly a comedy act! Do you thnk we will have Act II?

Act II

Just can't see the country wanting this crass pair back in the WH. I think the closer we get to the election and people get a steady diet of them again, Clinton fatique will quickly resurface.

She'll trying to pull a complete personality makeover, but I don't feel she'll will be able to conceal her absolute lust for power.

neff

You're right about Hill trying to pull a makeover, and it not working...the scary thing is the Slick "groopies" still love him, and since they are a team, they could vote for her to get him...that's what I fear could happen...:)

Also neff

Can you imagine the star from "Road to 9-11" back in the WH, after 9-11?

On the road again...

Mr. Clinton is basking in all of the attention, especially from women.

The rock star totally overshadows his "president in waiting" bride. I won't be able to turn on TV for the next 10 years, without getting sick to my stomach.

BTW, is there anyone else running except for Clinton and Obama? I don't see much coverage of anyone else!

On the road again...

Mr. Clinton is loving all of the attention, especially from the women. His "glory days" are back! The rock star totally overshadows his "president in waiting" bride.

Sandra

It is simply amazing how these guys get so much media attention, but then again the MSM is the second branch of the DNC...

Sandra

Rock Star status indeed...

I thought Hill was a strong woman who could stand on her own... who didn't need her man to get ahead...so much for that idea...she turns people off, but he turns some on I guess...go figure...

Btw, you're right

about the coverage...where are the republican candidates?

I remember talking

to a girl who voted for Bill because he was cuter than Dole...

Go figure...

I don't think Hillary can win

And I hope I am right!

Do you realize if she does that it will be at least 24 years of Bush/Clinton?

V Daddy

Yeah...now there is voter sophistication! "I think I'll vote for the draft dodging hunk, rather than a brave military man who suffered terrible pain and agony fighting for our freedoms...he's just not enough of a cutie"...and therefore we had eight years of the "hunk" in action...

more like "junk", if you ask me...

And, V Daddy

If she wins it will be due to HIS popularity, and our side dropping the ball...

Scary to think about

And that she could not have been the only one...

And if Hill wins, you are right, it will be due to him. She certainly cannot do it on her own.

V Daddy

I have a question for your sharp perceptive mind!

If a republican had done what Slick did, let's say, Dan Quayle had been president, (just as a hypothetical), been impeached, and all of the scandals that occured in the oval office and elsewhere, the accusations by women etc...if his wife (who is a sharper lawyer than Hll) were to run for president...would the press be treating them like they are treating this combo?

Would like to hear your opinion on that! LOL

Get used to it.

The Hill and Billery show may well be with us for the next nine years. Give credit to our fine educational system which has given our younguns such a fine grasp of ecomonics, history, civics and philosophy.

Oh yeah, give mucho credit to shows like Entertainment Tonight, The Daily Show and the glitzy entertainment industry with all the air-heads proping up socialist causes and candidates.

And I think Bill can still mesmerize a crowd so that they won't notice (or care)what a cold conniving itch his wife is.

In my opinion only two Republicans have a chance to derail the Clinton machine: Rudy - because he can be as nasty as they can; and Thompson - because he is so much the opposite of Hill/Bill that the contrast may overcome them.

And furthermore......

Is it OK with you if I put a like from my blog to yours on my blog? Let me know.

Link not Like

Sorry 'bout my unfortunate spelling. I'm probably a victim of something or other.

Yo Sheila

Excellent post. You and Peppermint are two of a kind with your great insight. The terrible nightmares are beginning to take shape in my tired old gray matter. Her Hillaryship trying to make crucial decisions about our safety and security together with the country's No. 1 sexual predator roaming the halls of the White House is a receipe (sp) for disaster. I hope all of the Nation's fathers who have young daughters will not allow them to audition for WH internships if that nightmare becomes a reality. God help us.

Yo Sheila

If the nightmare comes true, I'm going to ask the Platters to rise up from the grave and resurrect their great hit "I am the Great Pretender". I think it will fit her Hillaryship like it did the "Slick One".

Charles

I'd "like" to have you "link" to my blog...:)

I'd be honored! Good to have you here, come back and tell me about yourself! LOL

Charles , you are

cracking me up!

And you could be right about the two republicans who can do this combo in! I like your style!

You seem to have a firm grasp on the political situation we face...and why Slick is so popular...very perceptive, indeed...LOL

Charles...

Don't worry about the typo...it really was kinda cute...;)

Yo Willie Beaux!

LOL...thanks. you are too kind!

That is quite a paradox..."Her Hillarship" will be quite distracted making those very serious decisions about our national security, while her "blackmail material" "first" husband is finding and intern to corrupt...

You are right about any father in his right mind...not letting his daughter go anywhere near the WH!

Talk about insight! You get the award for that one! It is not a pretty picture...

Willie Beax...HAHAHA

The Platters! What a great idea! You Wille Beaux have just come up with the perfect theme song for "Her Hillaryship"'s campaign! I LOVE it!!! I am dying....:)

Oh oh oh yes, I'm the great pre-e te-ender!

Way to go Willie Beaux!

Hillary's ingratitude

Hillary really needs to show better manners toward those who help her friends. After all...Scooter Libby was Marc Rich's lawyer.

Scatbug...

Good point there, Scatbug!

But have you ever known of Hillary treating anyone with "manners"? Only those who are giving her bucks, in the form of cash, in bags...as in the Chinese when she was in the WH the first time.

All she cares about is Slick getting her back in there...

I'd Like To Hear From...

Juanita Broderick again. A timely reminder from her about who these people really are. Think Katie Couric would want to interview her?

Tell you about

myself? Surely you jest.

Almost everything in the blog is more or less true. Missing parts: 1.) I am terminally dyslexic. 2.) I am so old that females who are unknown to me feel no qualms about striking up a conversation with me - some of them are pretty hot babes, too. I often ask myself, "Where were these chicks 40-50 years ago?" I always answer myself, "They weren't born yet."

Yo Sheila

Another tale in the saga of "Willyam the Conquerer", aka POTUS, aka 'His Slickship", and the ballad of "I am the great Pretender".
My wife and I are garage sale junkies. We go on Fridays. One day (during Willyam's regime) while I was parked waiting for the wife, one of our local disc jockeys was playing golden oldies and lo and behold he started playing the Platters singing "I am the Great Pretender". I immediately turned the volume up on the radio and yelled out to her. "They are playing Clinton's theme song". Every one at the sale cracked up. I got a friend to make me a copy and I played it at every opportunity. Those years of Willyam roaming the WH in search of new conquests reminded me of William L. Shirer's (sp) book "The Nightmare Years". Those 8 years were our Nightmare Years. Heaven help us and the women employees of the WH if Her Hillaryship assumes the mantle of POTUS. I hope you get another laugh out of this.

Sheila

I left a question for you at my place, hope you'll give me a thoughtful answer.

I can't help but wonder

at the dichotomy of the treatment of Libby compared to Sandy "Sticky Socks" Burglar.

Charles

HA! That is too funny...I will stop by your place to check out your bio.

I guess you have one of those harmless sweet faces that makes everyone want to tell you their life history...:)

I'm cracking up!LOL

Lest we forget the facts

Rock Star Willie never received a majority of the vote for either of his two presidential runs. He owes his first election to Ross Perot and his second to Ralph Nader.

This duo is popular, but has never demonstrated overwhelming support by the population at large.

Hopefully their political machine will saddle the Dems with a candidate that cannot win the general election in a head-to-head competition.

Yo Willie Beaux!

I LOVE IT! LOL

You are a man after my own heart!:)Quite bold of you there, pal! Anyone ever object?

Sounds like you and your wife have lots of fun going to garage sales...it's amazing what you can find that...real treasures...

There used to be a cool show on HGTV that featued two GS shoppers who would show how to decorate with GS finds...it was such a great show.

I used to be in the antique business, and GSs were quite fun to check out for antiques...

Dave...

I'll be over in a flash...thanks for checking in!

Brian...go figure...

Why oh why isn't that man behind bars and banned permanently from ever going near a government building?

I hope Libby gets a very lucrative job offer from a very sprestigious corporation...

As to Burglar...I'm sure Slick and Hill have their eye on him for a future cabinet position if for some ungodly reason they make it back to the WH.

Scottie LOL

Good reminder there...it is true...

And...since some people at Hill and Slick's latest public spectacle thought he was Bob Barker, it may be that his "sax" appeal is fading...lucky for Hill...:)

Bill remains popular!

The MSM and the Dems stood behind him all the way. The Dems will never admit to any wrongdoing on the part of the Clintons. That's why they could win.

Sandra

He's the rock star of the left for sure...he's lived up to all their standards of comportment...:)he is an icon for how the left and Hollywood wants us all to live...

Don't forget,

that he was also the first black president. I never understood exactly what that meant!

Anyway, the combo will get most of the black vote too.

Sandra

yeah I never could understand that either...am I wrong or was Ron Brown his only black cabinit member?

Sheila

You are absolutely correct when it comes to Hillary's lack of manners in regard to others. What's more, I hear that at state dinners she can't tell the salad from the dinner fork and doesn't place her napkin on her lap, if she even bothers to use one.

Scatbug LOL

Could it be that she is too busy watching her husband to see who he's flirting with, and the "manners" go out the window?

It's hard to focus on the "important things" when you are distracted...:)

Sheila

Hmmm...That could be why she's never provided with a steak knife.

Scatbug...

Ha! A definite possibility, though she could do a lot of damage with a swift kick under the table, or simply a stare from accross the table...that would indicate lamps will be flying in the residential quarters after the party...:)

I wonder how he would adjust to being first husband?

Sheila

Ever see the Bond flick, "From Russia with Love"? There's a Russian gal who kills people by using a poisoned spike in the tip of her shoe. That's what I'm imagining now.

As for Bill's potential new life, I would guess that "First Lady Reads Dr. Seuss to 1st Graders" will change to "First Gentleman[!] Hosts Awards Ceremony for National High School Pom Pom Champs."

The problem for Libby, of course

is that unless he gets a full pardon, he'll be disbarred.

Burglar? No penalties. The infamous "ooopsie!" defense seemed to have worked very well. He should patent it.

Scatbug LOL

Ahh, the ol' poison spike trick eh...that would definitely fit the Hill profile...wonder if she's ever used that on any of her friends...that would be ex-friends...:)

Slick's new job...well that seems quite appropriate...he definitely has an eye for pom poms...LOL

Brian

In my opinion Fitzgerald should be disbarred. This isn't justice...

Brian, Sheila

Two great axioms: The "Oooopsie defense" for Berger and Libby was "Nyfonged".

There's a finger on that scale of justice ... and it's not for our side.

Neff

Unfortunately you're right...

Yo Sheila

Imagine her Hillaryship having a poison spike. Willyam would shake in his boots if she ever threatened to give him a swift kick you know where.

LOL, Neff

Yeah, and guess which finger it was.

Willie Beaux

Scary thought isn't it? A fatal kick to the ol' batoosky...it's no wonder they spend very little time living "together"...it could prove to be fatal...:)Ha!

Btw, if she were to win, they might start a new trend of separate master suites in the WH...(for the few days he won't be globe trotting, that is...)I hear that's the latest trend for married couples in high society...LOL

sheila

Samuel Adams

Nothing is more essential to the establishment of manners in a State than that all persons employed in places of power and trust must be men of unexceptionable characters.

Mr Adams must have been thinking about these 2

JDW

Samuel Adams...a wise man...and I'm sure he wouldn't believe the fact that the "combo" is actually running again...

Two for the price of one in reverse...wonder where that would take us this time around?...

Okay, y'all have waited patiently

I just posted a new essay, "Ruling Your Rights Away", and this is my usual shameless plug.

But it is an interesting, if obscure, topic, with what I think are very large ramifications.

Sounds as if..

...Samual Adams was smarter than these two even after all those beers....

Jimmy :-)

Do you ever take anything serioulsy? LOL

Scroll for the response at:

Hey Jimmy...LOL

Trucks and corn bread, huh...as long as it's corn bread and milk...I guess you're semi normal...

Jimmy :-)

Oops, I went to the wrong comment, July 9, 7:28...oh well it was funnier, anyway...LOL

Funny?? Funny??

This place is supposed to be deadly serious.

No soup for you.

Charles...

You just dropped by at the wrong moment...:)

Back to serious matters...

Wonder if Shrill and Slick will change all the lightbulbs when they move into the WH? And wonder if Shrill will apoint Green Al to the position of Green Czar?

And, wonder how many felons will be hired to work on staff, plus how many of the "W" pluckers and office trashers will be back in their offices.

Could be that they won't be firing as many this time since most have been holdovers leaking everything top secret on the WOT, and other sensitive matters while W has been in office...

Maybe they will even have Burglar be the Burgler Secretary in charge of making sure no real documents are left in the Library of Congress. They can write their own fictional accout of their stint in office for the history books.

One at a time:

Green Al will be appointed Jolly Green Giant. He will be responsible for blocking out enough sunlight to cool the Earth and stop the dreaded global warming. I think he's big enough for the task.

No felons will be hired. They'll all be given pardons. No one in the Democratic Congress will say a word.

Everyone everywhere will be fired. No one in the Democratic Congress will say a word.

Buglar won't be necessary as the iShredder will be available by December 2008.

Thanks for getting back to the serious stuff.

Interesting point, Sheila

If they bring with them all the "w" keys they stole when they left last time, they'll have a pretty good surplus.

Well Charles...

I forgot to mention they will probably bring back Hubble to be bouncer at the White House bashes...

and...they'll have an off campus office for Green Al at the local Buhdist Temple...not to mention the money counters to count the cash brought to the WH in bags by the Chinese...

and then of course, security to give directions to all interns delivering pizza, directing them to closets off of the Oval Office...

Btw,thanks for adding your commentary...very valid points of course...

Brian

Yeah, and do you think Shrill and Slick will return the items removed from Air Force One?

What'd they take from the plane?

I hope they left the engines on the wings.

Sheila

The fun never ends with Hill and Billary. If the Republicans don't get their act together soon, we all better get used to it. Again.

Charles:

I agree completely. I'm starting to believe that it's too late already!

Charles

you are right, we must get our act together in the GOP.

Funny thing is, the truth about Shrill and Slick seems so far out there, but it's as serious as it gets...and we cannot afford to have them in the WH.

Sandra

This is a serious situation to be sure...we must get back the majority and get a strong president. This WOT will be with us for years to come, unfortunately, and it cannot be taken lightly, as do those on the left, who want us to cut and run from Iraq. We had better wake up.

Sandra and Charles

The dems never seem to be held accountable for their corruption, and it seems they are doing a pretty good job of raising the bar right now, as they show what they are capable of in the majority...

The lesson they learned from Hill and Slick is they can get away with it...

Corruption

is the Democrat's middle name! People can't wait to see the second act of Billary.

Sandra

Isn't it amazing? It's like the more sordid the lifestyle, the more media attention and admiration the lefties get...it's definitely a rock star type popularity for ol' Slick...he is one smooth operator...

Hey, guys

I admit the publicity is always worse when it's the Republicans. But if they hadn't done anything to publicize, they might still control congress - that and maybe paying a little attention to their main supporters.

Apparently

that was a conversation stopper.

On Radio Saturday

Hey, I'll be on radio tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 p.m. (EDT), discussing Sarah Palin's candidacy. You can find it on your computer by going to: http://politicalpistachio.blogspot.com/ Just turn the sound up and call in if you'd like.

As you know, Sarah has been in Kuwait, Iraq (I think), and Germany this week.
