Why trust the Intelligence this time?

This is a long overdue column. I am so sick of the blame-game Dems have played with the unfound WMD.

They will have to convince me that had Al Gore been elected president that he would have cavalierly ignored the warnings of every intelligence service on earth regarding WMD in Iraq. Egyptian, Saudi, German, Russian, British, Jordanian, and French...And that George Tennant's dire pronouncement, "Mr. President, it's a slam dunk" would have meant nothing to him.

George Bush, who is charged with protecting all of us, even Democrats, did what anyone elected president would have done under the same circumstances. You can do everything right and still be wrong and if Al Gore says he would have done the opposite, he is either a liar or a fool.

That column is called "Algore back in the WH, after being kept out by guess who?" and it was posted on 11/26.
