Tolerance is precisely putting up with something we understand to be wrong. It does not imply acceptance. The idea of tolerance as equivalent to "anything goes" or "if it's right for you, who am I to tell you differtly" is a recent relativist twist.

You are right that liberals are intolerant, because the only thing they "understand to be wrong" is anyone telling them that there is any moral precept that obligates them in any way, and they are not going to listen to any such voice.
