That's right. Not all Germans committed atrocities but there were plenty complicit. For example the concentration camps were emitting horrible smells that the townspeople just ignored. They "knew" something awful was going on, but refused to speak up.
This Muslim silence is no different. They commit atrocities against their own and who speaks up. Just a few very brave people like Irshad Manji for one. And, oddly enough it seems that the ones who do speak up are women. Maybe because they are the ones being the most offended against. I don't know.
I do know I'm sick of them (Muslims) screaming about our so called atrocities. There is no comparison.

I'm not saying that so large a percentage has radicalism in their blood. But they would stand by - just as the Germans did - and allow atrocities to be done in their name. Whether it is due to fear or indifference, I don't know. But I do know, the "good" Germans didn't show up until adter the war - that would be the "big" war, of course - and until the "good" Muslims show up, we're going to be in for a nasty ride.
And until many more Americans - many more than is the current number - realize this is a long term problem, it ain't gonna go away.
The American indifference and the "good" Muslim indifference are about on the same level. That has to change on both sides.

From the stories I've read and the documentaries I've seen about the concentration camps, I often wondered what those Germans thought they were seeing when it was "raining ashes". Kind of blows the mind.
If the Muslims would take all that energy and hatred they have for us and do something constructive with it they could perhaps develop some kind of good life for themselves. But, no they are only interested in destruction.
Oh,no one dare not point anything out to the radical Muslims. No one is allowed to speak the truth that's for sure. Death to those who speak. Irshad gets her life threatened all the time.
I find it pretty tiresome myself to have to walk on eggshells about them and their brutality all the time. And, our pols don't help. Actually none of the world leaders are too outspoken about any of this. Silence is deafening.
And the International Red Cross and those other "human rights groups" where are they? They are quick to condemn us for any accusation that gets thrown our way, but silent about these Muslim atrocities. What is their problem?

This is a very good point you make. Indifference. Yes there is not much interest in pointing out these things. In fact, we keep giving in to their demands.
Did you know there is a school in San Diego now that allows an imam to come in during the Muslims call to prayers and the kids go these in a closed area? Can you imagine? Our own kids aren't allowed to say a prayer in public schools or mention the name God, but the Muslims are getting these special privileges. What the heck is up with that nonsense?
Whatever these Muslims want we give it to them. And, no ACLU is there fighting to keep "prayer" out of the school like they do with other religions. Everyone gives the Muslims a pass because they bully everyone and make demands that no one else does. I suppose if they were told no, they can't have these "special" prayer times, they'd just blow the school up. It's just utterly mind boggling.

They need to take aggressive steps to put an end to this nonsense before someone else does it for them; and that sure won't be pretty if it happens.

It's, at times, almost comical, the hoops and blatheration some folks endure to appear 'nice'. That is also something the muslim nuts know all to well, and play to their greatest advantage. So either some people are so naive that they don't see that they are being played, or else they place appearing 'nice' a higher priority that preventing another attack or incident. I'm fairly certain that those very same schools in Pepp's article have whole lectures on how to be offended, and to play the gullibility of the PC crowd & the infidel court system.
We may go down in flames, but we'll look nice all the way down.

Do you remember the poster over on TH column who is living in the ME...there was a discussion about the non-radical muslims standing up and speaking out...I think ihis screen name started with an I. Anyway, I said I knew plenty of "normal" religious Muslims and how they would tell me they are afraid to speak out againsthe radicals because of fear. He concurred, and as he is living there, would not divulge anything...except to say that he too, was afraid for his life...go figure, and I don't have a better solution than to kick them all out, inter, inter, and no more student visas.

The liberal men could get to have their harems as they like to do anyway and stone the ones who offend them. I'm sure the moonbats would fall right into the Islamic ways especially as they would have no choice other than to have their moronic heads chopped off. What a delight to see that. Sean Penn's head stuck on a stick in Islamabad.
The liberals would get to see the world as it is, not just some fantasy world in which they live. A dose of reality would do them good. No free speech, no porn, no unnatural sex, or any other liberal concoction.
And, our country would be free of vermin. I can only say hallelujah, allah ahkbar. God is great. To relieve us of our inner enemies for good.
Pelosi of course would go to Syria where she believes she has flirted enough with Assad to have a good life in his harem. Ha, ha. She looks so good in those scarves and her Armani suits. Perhaps she could run the country and launch an attack on us from there. Only Assad wouldn't allow her to open her vacuous mouth any further, surprise, surprise, RedNanny, no free speech for you either.
Reid could go to Iraq where he is an expert in his own mind on warfare. He could lead General Petraeus into ignominious defeat since that is his dream of the century.
Oh, I could go on and on, but what the hey. As long as the liberals are all shipped out to some of the best countries named above I could be well satisfied.

Internationally, an important petition posted a month ago by a group of liberal Arabs calls for a treaty banning religious incitement to violence and specifically names "sheikhs of death" (such as Yusuf Al-Qaradawi of Al-Jazeera television), demanding that they be tried before an international court. Over 2,500 Muslim intellectuals from 23 countries rapidly signed this petition.
With time, individual Muslims are finding their voice to condemn Islamist connections to terrorism. Perhaps most outstanding is an article by Abdel Rahman al-Rashed, a Saudi journalist in London: "It is a certain fact that not all Muslims are terrorists," he writes, "but it is equally certain, and exceptionally painful, that almost all terrorists are Muslims. … We cannot clear our names unless we own up to the shameful fact that terrorism has become an Islamic enterprise; an almost exclusive monopoly, implemented by Muslim men and women."
Other analysts have followed al-Rashed's example. Osama El-Ghazali Harb writes from Egypt that "Muslim and Arab intellectuals and opinion leaders must confront and oppose any attempt to excuse the barbaric acts of these [terrorist] groups on the grounds of the suffering endured by Muslims." From Virginia, Anouar Boukhars holds that "Terrorism is a Muslim problem, and refusal to admit so is indeed troubling.""

Allow me an attempt to explain the facts of life in the simplest terms I can think of.

Lets say you belong to a group of 100 people. This group's sole purpose is to make life good for all. These "10" using your groups name play all the destructive games they can think of. And could care less what the group thinks! What do you and the group do about it??....Well Brad??..
I'll answer for you the way any sane person would answer. The 90 people in the group would easily overcome the 10 bad guys and send them running.
So the questions becomes, Why aren't 90% of the Muslims outing the 10% bad guys? I await your learned answer Brad! And I don't want to hear that 90 people are scared to death of 10!

In my "it ain't J'miraquai" blog, I wrote about Islamberg...can't remember if you've seen it(without my computer or access to my Blog,as you see my name is not underlined). But this same guy has said that there are already nuclear devices in place INSIDE the US...nothing but a picnic has happened in regard to the law and Islamberg, and Chertoff must be politically playing down the impending doom. (ie-he was made fun of for saying he had a gut feeling.)
This Paul L. Williams guy was a former FBI consultant and, frankly it has scared us enough to pull our 401k from stocks to something completely safe for several months, to be protected. Martin (my husband)was saying that they would plan to attack in the summer due to the "surge" end, or pull-out. Just google "chertoff terror" and a few articles with links will pop up. Wonder what Ostrich boy will say to this?

Well, Pepp, we could guess the pit is leftover from a feeling he got that lettuce was going unpicked because they_have_to enforce the law. Actual “Guts” though does not strike me as synonymous with Chertoff.
He may have a gut that is afraid of not having lettuce, and has hunger pains for power and control. Other than that gut and Guts are not related in Cheroff. We still doubt his guts to enforce law, risking lettuce shortages. Unfortunately, just to function, he needs a Brown for a fall guy in case things get worse. (who will he blame?)

Here's an interesting atrocity story for you. When my dad was stationed at the US Embassy in Istanbul in the mid '70s, he started dating a young Turkish girl. When her parents found out that they were seeing each other, they told her that if she was ever seen with him again, they would disfigure her face so badly no one would want to have anything to do with her and they would abandon her on the street.
This from a so-called "moderate" Sunni country.
