Right On One Issue Is Not Enough

I, for one, will gladly accept your definition of conservative. The core beliefs you listed are timeless, well understood values written into the Constitution by the Founders. I could not think of anything else that would need to be added, probably because anything else would be just that, an addendum.

I do not believe the Constitution is a "living document" anymore than the Bible. Both, I believe, were written by highly inspired, intelligent, God fearing men who labored long and hard over every jot and tittle so that we would not have to. As Sgt. Friday always said, "Just the facts, maam". The Constitution is just exactly what is necessary, it needs nothing more.

Great stuff, keep 'em comin'. Congrats on making the Top Ten.

It is a mixed blessing being in the top ten. Kind of like the Robert Vaughn monologue from the Magnificent Seven, you always worry about dropping back out again.

Of course, this is the third time I have been in the top ten. First time lasted about a month, the second a lot longer, then I dropped out a few weeks ago and just returned to the top then this week.

Have to see how long this one lasts.
