The Real Juan McCain

MY FRIENDS!

Meet John McCain – He will vote for you at MOST only 43.9% of the time.
Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 (BCRA), popularly known as McCAIN-Feingold made it a "federal crime for any corporation to broadcast, shortly before an election, any communication that names a federal candidate for elected office and is targeted to the electorate." (Such as Pro-Life) (overturned in McCain v. Wisconsin Right to Life)

Not only did it restrict Free Speech, it also worked against Pro-Life. This was in effect 30 days prior to a primary and 60 days prior to a general election.
McCain voted AGAINST the Marriage Amendment 7-14-04 and again on 6-7-6
McCain Voted AGAINST National Right to Life Issues
25% of the time in 2005-2006
18% of the time in 2003-2004 and
67% of the time in 2001-2002.

McCain Voted AGAINST Family Research Council and American Family Association issues
38% of the time in 2006
34% of the time in 2005
33% of the time in 2004
0% of the time in 2003
25% of the time in 2002
33% of the time in 2001

John McCain DID NOT VOTE on 56.1% or 249 SENATE votes during this past congressional session.

Maybe if someone had woken him up he wouldn’t have missed vote 318 HR2764 on 9-6-7. Also known as the Brownback Amendment #2707, it would have prohibited funding of organizations that support coercive abortion. Watch McCain sleeping:

Why I'm voting for Mac

Frankly, I'm fed up of all the dirty, negative campaigning by some of these conservative talk show hosts. It's going to have the opposite effect on many party members. In any event, here's one of the reasons I'm voting for Mc Cain: He wins on public service/leadership experience hands down. You may not agree with all his views, but he's had 20+ years in direct government leadership experience. He's also served this nation honorably as a solider (having been a POW both involuntarily and voluntarily) in an unpopular war. McCain has seen and been in real war - not just the physical (hand-to-hand combat) kind, but also the political (Washington) kind. He knows what it takes to get the job done and act on conviction - even if it means losing popularity by members of one party. Meanwhile, how many years has Mitt officially served in public office? He served 2003-2007 as Mass. governor. There's not much to critcize Mitt because he doesn't have a long political record...and the few political stances that he has taken is hardly impressive. Just check their public record (check in a 'neutral' not pro or anti either, in Google). Mitt changed his views on abortion from pro to anti, introduced universal health care, increased the tax burden in MA, raised 'fees', and led a successful Olympics campaign...ohhhh, ahhh...now he's hailed as a great Reagan-type conservative! In my opinion, he's highly overrated. Mac can win/eat the Republican's Ken&Barbie Doll - you'll see.

Apparently Romney is NOT plastic

The HORROR!... The Media

These are some rather eye-opening facts.

Since the start of the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, the sacrifice has been enormous. In the time period from the invasion of Iraq in March 2003, through today, we have lost over 3,000 military personnel to enemy action and accidents.
As tragic as the loss of any member of the US Armed Forces is, consider the following statistics: The annual fatalities of military members while actively serving in the armed forces from 1980 through 2006:

1980 ........ 2,392
1981 ......... 2,380
1984 ......... 1,999
1988 .......... 1,819
1989 .......... 1,636
1990 ........ 1,508
1991 .......... 1,787

1992 .......... 1,293
1993 ......... 1,213
1994 .......... 1,075
1995 ..........2,465
1996 ......... 2,318
1997 .......... 817
1998 ......... 2,252
1999 .......... 1,984
2000 .......... 1,983
Clinton years @14,000 deaths

2001 ......... 890
2002 .......... 1,007
2003 ........ 1,410
2004 .......... 1,887
2005 ....... 919
2006.......... 920
Bush years (2001-2006): 7,033 deaths

If you are confused when you look at these figures, so was I.

More HORrOR...

Do these figures mean that the loss from the two latest conflicts in the Middle East are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Mr. Clinton's presidency; when America wasn't even involved in a war? And, I was even more confused; when I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize winner) Jimmy Carter, there were 2,392 US military fatalities!

These figures indicate that many members of our Media and our Politicians will pick and choose. They present only those "facts" which support their agenda-driven reporting. Why do so many of them march in lock-step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their marching-orders for their agenda?

Our Mainstream Print and TV media, and many Politicians like to slant; that these brave men and women, who are losing their lives in Iraq, are mostly minorities! Wrong AGAIN ?" just one more media lie!

The latest census, of Americans, shows the following distribution of American citizens, by Race:
Caucasian(White)69.12%
Hispanic ...... 12.5%
Black.......... 12.3%
Asian .......... 3.7%
Native American. 1.0%
Other .......... 2.6%

Now... here are the fatalities by Race; over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom:

Caucasian(white) 74.31%
Hispanic ....... 10.74%
Black ........... 9.67%
Asian ........... 1.81%
Native American . 1.09%
Other ........ .. 0.33%

You do the Math! These figures don't lie, but, Media-liars figure and they sway public opinion !

(These statistics are published by Congressional Research Service, and they
may be confirmed by anyone at: http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/RL32492.pdf
http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/RL32492.pdf > )

Now ask yourself this question:
"Why does the mainstream Print and TV Media never print statistics like these?"
