Hope you had a Merry Christmas in spite of Channel 4.

Where would you be?

Somewhere a lot more intelligent and rational than you are now!

Hope you had a ye olde Merry Christmas, and wishing you and yours a Happy New Year despite the BBC.

Thanks for stopping by. I would need a whole blog article to deconstruct the Iranian President's message. Maybe next year.

I shall be "out of office" for a few days visiting more relatives, but I shall be back in the New Year.

Greg

I too hope you had a Happy Christmas and a joyous New Year.

I liked the Queen's message. Very uplifting.

Windbreaker Boy on the other hand is doing a really fine imitation of a sane person. His honesty about his feelings for Christians probably explains why the Iranian people are so free and prosperous.

"Windbreaker Boy on the other hand is doing a really fine imitation of a sane person."

Sincerity if everything, and if you can fake that you have got it made.

Watch this space for a bunch of "shouty" libs who will appeal to the Iranian message of "peace" whilst condemning Israel.

Just to shock me, the BBC this morning (Sunday 4th January 2009) had a couple of guests who were unusually balanced in their analysis of the current Mid East situation.

It was the Andrew Marr show, and Andrew Marr is one of the few journalists on the Beeb that I respect. Jeremy Paxman is another one.
