Obama's time????

Pray, how did he determine that it is "Obama's time"? Are there some forces of nature that come into play when an unaccomplished, unexceptional, person of proven poor judgment decides to run for the office of President? His poor daddy must be spinning in his grave.

Hi, Garnet!

Yes, it`s true! And spinning in his grave he must be! It was shocking to watch and hear it! Christopher is the perfect mimic of his father physically but just a tad too pseudo intellectual for us! Unbelievable. Don`t know if you get Bloomberg but they repeat these interviews on weekends, this was from Friday night. Can`t remember the name of the interviewer either. It was on at 7pm CDT. As far as the NR goes, I stopped reading Parker and Lopez and am giving Lowry one more chance. Love Mark Steyn, Victor and that Jim G. guy! On my way to the Pesky Truth Outlet Store to read the last two chapters about our Mighty Mom! Thanks for your visit, Garnet!

Chris Buckley

has GOT to get out of that Northeast Corridor. It's ruined him!

Hi, Bob`s Nephew!

Yes, he should and it has! You come out with some good one-liners yourself!

This is amazing!

What are these people thinking?

Obama is the most unknown entity that has ever run for President. How could any Republican support him? The world as we know it must be coming to an end.

Hi, Sandra!

Amazing is right! What is it about a Utopian society that the intelligenisa embraces? And what is it about Obama that allows him to get a pass?? Socialism is knocking and the American electorate is about to open the door and welcome it in! I pray the sleeping giant awakens and resists this horrendous intrusion!

Uncanny

It is uncanny how Obama came from nowhere to being this close to being President. The uncanny part is how like Jimmy Carters rise to power is Obama's. I remember my mother actually cried when Carter was elected. If he is elected we can only pray that like Carter, it will be one term. Unless he, with the finances of Soros behind him can eliminate enough of our rights to extend his reign. This is the first election in my lifetime I have actually feared whether or not the America I love can survive the possible outcome

Dawndawn...

Wow...that's a disappointment...but maybe he was lying so the left will love him, and he'll be invited on liberal shows to promote his book...

Hi, Rob!

I have to admit I voted for Jimmy. Became a Conservative during the Clarence Thomas hearings (Thank you, Joe Biden!) and never looked back! There is no realistic explanation for BHO`s rapid rise. I can`t see his appeal myself and believe him to be a fraud of the first order! However, I get excited over Sarah Palin, so go figure! Thanks for dropping by!

Hi, Sheila!

Gee, I never thought he could be lying in order to get interviews and sell books! See how cynical I am becoming! Speaking of cynical, did you see MTP with Gwen Iamsofullofs_it! If not, there is a clip on Hotair in which she slams Sarah!!!!! So happy I didn`t roll over for her after the debate! See you soon!

Buckley

Wlliam F. Buckley is rolling over in his grave tonight - along with the Founding Fathers.

Hi, Chad!

Yes, surely WFB and the Founding Fathers are on a roll and not just over the antics of Christopher! Thanks for your visit!

WWWBD

What would William Buckley do. It is said that National Review printed buttons "We Prefer Ike" when the "I Like Ike" buttons were the rage. I'm guessing that would be the case in 2008. WFB represented a morally conservative libertarianism. Chris Buckley's previous popular work was "Thank You For Smoking" (the movie was quite funny). I think he has the Libertarian part down. Conservative intellectuals, with the exception of Thomas Sowell (I'm thinking Will, Krauthammer)are writing very little in the way of friendly commentary on McCain. I haven't heard that any of them will actually support Obama (however frustrating their columns). In Chris Buckley's case, he may just be trying to sell books, by straddling the fence. In any event, only an intellectual lightweight would have difficulty deciding in 2008.

Hi, Randy!

Loved WWWBD! Your response is right on the $$$$! And Christopher can surely vote for whomever he wants! Sheila noted in her response that he probably wants to just sell books and get interviews. It was on Bloomberg! Hahahaha! Thanks for your visit!

Obama

Thanks for the comment on my post and keep up the awesome work - don't get discouraged or even think about giving up. The Presidential Election is actually just getting started - there will be many wonderful changes in the next few weeks, because of people just like you.

As Always, Annie

Hi, Annie!

Thank you for your visit! Should probably take some time off from reading the blogs and watching the snooze, etc., but time is crucial now! Your post was very inspiring and your comments here are thoughtful! Looking forward to reading your blog again!

It's Obama's Time

is a dead giveaway that the speaker is a elitist suffering from White guilt. Get over it people.

Hi, davecat!

You hit it right on the head, as usual: elitist, intellectual white guilt. It will be the doom of us all.

What on earth would constitute

someone's "time" to be president?

Well I think it's my time. Should everyone write in my name on the ballot? I mean...I have about as much experience in politics as Obama, but with better judgement than to eat dinner on a regular basis with Rashid Khalidi and play backgammon in Bill Ayers livingroom while plotting the radicalization of our public school systems (ok that is a little exteme...I doubt they were playing backgammon. Probably were playing Risk).

So my new proposition is for everyone to write in my name on the ballots instead of Obama bc I'm at least one up on him in one area. Judgement.

Oh and it would put a conservative in the White House haha

Hi, American Sweetie!

You`ve got my vote! Christopher came out in the open on Friday. I couldn`t read past the first paragraph, just wanted to line a bird cage with it!

We will spread the word that you are our write-in candidate!

For dawndawn

Amazing comments about Obama - keep up the good work. Study the "Rules for Radicals" and you'll understand what his real platform is...

As Always, Annie

Hi, Annie!

Thanks for swinging by! I have been reading that "Christo" has resigned from National Review!!! Could he actually have a conscience? Oh, the need to be timely and aware. For myself, I have always been slightly out of step and proud of it!
