I AGREEe THAT THE GOVERNMENT SHOULDN'T BE funding this research whether in adult or embryoes BUT we don't want the courts deciding do we.That is why we are having troubles in other areas because the courts are ruling on what they want and not appling the law so congrees should make a law and the court apply it
Also it is a moral issue if you feel that killing a conceived human that has a soul to do research.All our laws deal with moral issues don't they... stealing murder etc .. we din't just pull things out of a hat

Stem cell research IS a moral issue but the government funding of it is not, that becomes something else once the taxpayer starts paying for it. Abortion is different because we have not yet had a serious threat for the federal funding of abortion.

But I do agree with you on the fact that we can't trust the courts. Sad but true.
