Bush Killed the VT students!

This post is incredible. I agree that the National Government has failed its job to protect the people of the US. But it is not one man, one branch of the government, or even one political party to give that responsibilty to, it is the entire government.

The Democrats block any real reform and present only shadow improvements, while the majority of the Republicans at the national level, do not stand up and fight for what it right.

The big picture is safety, it is too bad the Government will not make that the priority. But blaming only one person, you miss the point, too.

I understand your point and it is well taken. My point is that Bush has the bully pulpit and makes statements like, "I feel deeply that allowing illegals (my words, his words are migrating peoples) is a moral responsibility." Hogwash he is assisting in the slaughter of over 45000 Americans since 9/11. If he and congress were as committed to the American people as they are to the illegals in this country, we all would be much safer!
