I'll have to try that next time. When I try to defend our conflict in Iraq (Iraq is just a battle field of the war), I usually get the Bush lied diatribe to which I reply that it's Joe Wilson that lied. They will then retort, "then why was Libby going to jail?" However, when I try to explain that, their bumper sticker mentality kicks in and they interrupt with short pithy claims and I can never finish.

Keep up the fight. The party of defeat needs to be put in it's place and our troops need to be supported.
