How the RINO Pundits brought us here

Closing the Borders

Living in San Diego 15 miles north of Tijuana gives me a voice in the immigration problem. I have been witnessing it for 10 years.

FACT: Illegal immigrants have to go to the hospital for every medical problem, from the sniffles to lung cancer. They are unable to pay. ANNUAL COST TO THE CALIFORNIA TAXPAYER: $ 4 BILLION

FACT: In the past 5 years 10 hospitals in San Diego County have closed and called it quits because they went broke providing free medical care to illegals.

FACT: Illegal immigrant children go to public schools. COST TO THE CALIFORNIA TAXPAYER: $10 BILLION

FACT: Over 4,500 US Citizens (more than lost in 9/11) have been killed by illegal immigrants since 9/11. 60% of the illegal immigrants in the US Prison System are located in CALIFORNIA. ALL COSTS UNDERWRITTEN BY CALIFORNIA TAXPAYERS.

There is slavery, child prostitution and a growing crime rate in San Diego County thanks to illegals from the south. Our murder rate is at an all time high caused by increasing gang and cluster violence and crime.

Border crossings are getting increasingly dangerous even with the fence already constructed. Innocent youngsters are takine enormous risks with their parents crossing. "Coyotes", or guides, extort all the immigrants money to get them across safely. We hear about once a month of a van or small truck with people packed in like sardines flipping off the highway while being chased down by the Border Patrol or CHP. There have been immigrant deaths in these vehicle accidents.

Vicente Fox encouraged his subjects to go North to get jobs and bring money back to families. There is a strong Latin movement to turn the beautiful city of San Diego into a cow dung hole like Tijuana with all its corruption and graft.

So before you fancy pants your way to solving the theorem of the failings of the Republicans and their "discovery" of the illegal immigration situation, understand that it is a tangible, measurable problem that concerns people like Hayworth and others.

While you sit on your best strategic intentions "waiting".. this part of the world is facing increasing difficulties. It's the reason that anyone with any care and understanding of the problem rejected the half assed McCain-Kennedy bill. That action was one of the few times that the Republicans actually took a stand on something major.

And by the way, get over Laura Ingraham. She's a talk show host and its her job to stir it up. Write off Peggy Noonan as the whiney air head her columnns show her to be. As far as the other pundits, Krauthammer is the only one in the bunch honest enough to speak the truth. The others are like most of the Republicans in Congress: drunk on the elixir of Potomac Fever, fine cigars and doily lace on their satin underwear.

Use your blog as a bully pulpit for real issues with real facts that face real people. It is how the Republicans are going to get back into the race.

You don't get it do you?

I never said the immigration issue was not a problem...It should and could have stood on it's own. It's the "national security" tag attached to it that was a lie because buddy...the threat is to the liberal north--and very little people are talking about putting a wall up there.

And since when did job protection become a priority of Conservatives?

When did Conservatives look toward the government for help in dealing with social problems?

Sounds mighty "liberal" to me...this victimization of "poor Americans".

But you know what? It doesn't matter...it really doesn't...because this election proved me right...most Americans, even in Hayworth's border state DOES NOT THINK THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUE a big deal.

And those who listened to Laura Ingraham LOST. That's right...there was no "base" that was going to carry the GOP to victory on this one issue...they lost and now there will be zero chancce of enforcing the border laws.

ZERO...how's that for being "smart".

Call Laura and ask her...how does it feel to have put YOUR RATINGS above America's safety and to tank the careers of some really good people like Santorum and Hayworth?

How does it feel to be WRONG?

You bet I'm angry. WE DID NOT HAVE TO LOSE if the pundits hadn't acted like spoilt children who couldn't focus long enough to "finish the job" aka winning in Iraq, making those tax cuts permenant, and changing the courts...if they had sticked with the issues that concerned ALL Americans, not just those sitting on the borders, we would have swept this election and brought real change instead of the piece meal change a NARROW majority gave us.

Laura played on YOUR frustrations...on those living in big numbers (ratings) California...and you guys all bought it.

And now she is blaming Bush for coming on board too late...despite the FACT that the House embraced her hard line stand 2 years ago--and lost--the woman has no flippant shame.

Geez.
