Ouch: Back Pain, Your Prayers, Please

Consider...

...yourself prayed for.

Of course, amputation has always been my recommended solution for whatever ails you!

:-D

understand....

I understand and empathis with you and what you go through every day. I too have been diagnosed with failed back syndrome. I had a fusion surgery 2 years ago on my L5-S1. I have to walk with canes to get around and when I walk I take very small steps.
I can't sit or stand for any lengh of time. When I do sit, I am very figity. The only sleep I get is when I am completely exausted, which is usally around 4am or 5am and I get up at 10am. The pain usually wakes me up.
I have gone through the stages of denial, anger, frustration, now I'm getting closer to accepting that I am going to have to live with this the rest of my life.
I have a very understanding husband. Whenever I start to complain about everything under the sun, he just chuckles and quotes a line from our favorite comedian "nag, nag, nag, bit.., bit.., bit.." and it puts me in a better mood.
I have 4 dogs to help me forget about my problems. They are all very good dogs.
I will put you on my prayer list. I hope you can accept your daily challenges and know that there are others out here that are suffering in daily life just like you.
Take care,
Sher
