Oprah: promoting sacrilege & Blasphemy; Endorsing wholesale Abortion & Same Sex Marriage & Snubbing Sarah Palin

Needles

It might be harder for a rich man to enter heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle but if that rich person has made their mega millions in the media that slim chance is reduced to ZERO! Great post!

Oprah: Promoting sacrilege..

WOW! you have some great stuff here, Bobbie Great post. You cover a lot of ground here with arguments that are right on!!!. Your posts are important keep up the good work :)

Bobbie, it's inevitable

that events will catch up to Oprah. She's become too big for herself, and the backlash has begun. Look at US weekly, actually printing a plea to subscribers not to leave. Oprah has damaged her brand. We haven't heard the last of this, lies and obfuscations on the way. Good one Bobbie.

Skep, Kevin and Dave

Thanks for stopping by and Thanks for the encouragement. I'm so impressed with your sites, I am flattered to have a good word from you. Keep up your good work, guys.

Bobbie

Thanks for stopping at my place...as for Oprah, I am not necessarily pisssed that she wants to stay behind Obama and doesn't "do" political fairness.
But, I am totally irritated that she is dissing her as far as the woman thing. That is the beauty of Oprah owning her show. She has the ability to sensor herself if she wants. However, she is doing a great disservice for someone that always touts motherhood as being the toughest job there is...and Palin works!

Nicely done, bobbie!

Obviously, Oprah is in the tank for Obama, she even cried at one of his speeches. Unfortunately, I also believe that it is partially racist as well. I don't think that she would EVER support a white candidate (even Hillary) to the extent that she supports Obama. Regards,
G.

Bobbie, I Know How You Feel

The world has evolved into a Liberal Haven, everything hedonistic and new age is glorified and everything that points to God, ethics, morals, and personal responsibilty is villified.
Oprah has bought the Leftwing Progressive Liberal Line and may not fully comprehend how she is acting.

Ok, I will admit it is her show and she can put anyone she like on it but It would be nice for her to admit she is in the bag for Obama and his Obamanite Liberal party and that conservatives are so beneath her sphere and she doesn't Like our Gal Sarah. The truth from these people would be refreshing.

It's too bad about Oprah

She needs major prayer. We should pray that her mind will be enlightened by God's Holy Spirit.

Her show would go off the charts if she had Palin on! I'm surprised she isn't considering it...

Oprah

I know I am probably going to get bagged on for this, but I don't really want Gov Sarah Palin to go onto her show. I am not a big fan of hers and quite frankly on certain issues I think she is a hypocrite.

I am sure her audience would love to see Gov Palin on the show and she would probably get huge ratings, but since I am not an Oprah fan I am glad that she is not going on.

Nee, Garnet,Bear, Sue & Sheila,

Thanks for your comments. My guess is that Governor Palin won't go on Oprah, even if and when Oprah invites her. I think she will take a "who needs you, Oprah" stance, in which case, my personal admiration of her will go up even more. Nobody needs to cater to the likes of liberal diva, Oprah Winfrey.

Thanks for visiting. Y'all come back.

I agree with Sue

bag Oprah. ABC okay, one Enemedia outlet. Do a Fox interview and let that be that. Cheney didn't have to go all over the place.

davecatbone

So true. I don't remember Cheney jetting around to all of these shows. Get out there and campaign and if you have time, go on a show. As for wanting to get to know her, go to their stump spots and listen to what she has to say. Just because she is not going to a sit down and bow down to the MSM does not mean that no one knows here.

She has done interviews with CNBC, which they keep running over and over and also she has been on CNN, with Glen Beck a few times.

Bag Oprah!

Bobbie

I'm not surprised by Oprah. Do you realize she does not believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ but through "your inner self?" It's all in the new religion she's proselitizing on her show and over the net.

She's using her influence to confuse the minds of REAL Christians. She may do good deeds, but she does not show real fruit that the Bible talks of.

Here is a link that exposes her beliefs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW4LLwkgmqA

Str8, Yep; I know.

She & Tolle think heaven resides in your "inner conscience" I wrote about that in the first part of my post. She, Tolle and Obama denies that there is a hell too. They may find out the hard way, that there is;just like the bible says. Thanks for the visit and your comments.

Oprah makes the rules

I agree with Sue -- Gov. Palin should not appear on Oprah`s show (or the View)! -- In fact, I agree with all the posters here -- What has happened to Oprah since she so openly embraced Obama? -- Oprah more than anyone should appreciate the struggles of rising above obstacles to succeed --

OPRAH SAT IN THE REV.,WRIGHT CHURCH ALSO

Don't forget, Oprah sat in Rev.,Wrights hostile black liberation church for awhile. When she decided to promote her Race instead of her Gender, Oprah neglected to do right by her female audience! As bright as Oprah is she knew that the unvetted Rookie Obama was not qualified to be a leader of the free world, as compared to the proven, solid ready Hillary. She got caught up in the excitement of lifting up the Black man so her race would shine like never before. I understand her feelings but it was the womens time. Obama is young and could try to be the President later, when fully ready! Haste makes waste. Now smittened Oprah is showing her bias again and protecting her beloved super star by avoiding Lady Sara! Ex Democrat

Oprah neglected the women, same as 'O'!

Of course Oprah is biased, along with 92% of blacks that mostly vote for their skin, no matter what! If Prince Charming, Obama, was 'white' Oprah would have used her brains and voted for the stonger, experienced Clinton!
Thanks alot Oprah, your female fans expected better from you! Ex Democrat

Tolle Is An Idiot (or a Scientologist)

"Tolle discounts sin as an obsolete concept, denies the existence of hell, denies that Heaven is a place but claims that “heaven” is found in our “inner realm of consciousness”."

Wow, Tolle sure "shoots" down Luke 23:39-43, doesn't he. (BTW, this was written in an extremely sarcastic manner. Personally I know that Heaven is an actual place. I just hope that my "mansion" is a dog-run house built on a hill and overlooking a trout stream. Behind the house is a shooting range and the forest. In the forest there are Indians. Every now and then Alvin York will come by and beat me in a shooting match. At other times I will get to wander in the forest.)

Oprah's grandmother must be spinning in her grave. By all accounts that I have heard here in Mississippi, she was a good Christian woman.

But what do expect from some one (Oprah that is) who has made being successful the NUMBER 1 thing in her life? She has no "foundation built on rock"; her foundation is built "on sand".

Oprah has the right not to have Palin on

her show. That being said, it is not the greatest marketing strategy in the world.

The only thing that she needs to do to max her ratings on two consecutive weeks is:

#1... Bring in Palin.

#2... The week after, bring Obama.

This would make the headlines, and give her a boost.

But, hey, what can I say? Obama idolization is an infectious desease, and she has it bad.

Antibiotcs anyone?

I Can't Believe I'm Defending Oprah

Okay, I'm a 31 year old housewife and mother. Oprah's demographic. I'd love to boycott her now, but I was already boycotting her over leaving James Frey to twist in the wind. My point: I'm no Oprah fan!

However, if her statement that when she endorsed Obama she vowed not to use her show as a political platform, and she hasn't had him on since then, then I don't think this is a big deal.

What offends me is her thought that Palin will come on after the election. If she wins she'll be kinda busy being VP and all. And if she loses (and this is one of the coolest things about Palin) she'll go back to Alaska and be busy governing there. She doesn't need Oprah to validate her.

Dawn & Vicky, I agree

that Sarah should not go on Oprah...ever. She would be rewarding Oprah's hypocrisy and giving authenticity to Oprah's apparent belief that Governor Palin "needs" her. Oprah, like so many celebs, has gotten weay to big for her britches. Too full of herself.

Thanks for visiting and taking time to comment.

Joe & Jennifer, I'm not suggesting

that Oprah doesn't have the "right" to say who she will or will not have on her show. That right, however, doesen't excuse her hypocrisy. Oprah IS her show and she doesn't have to be on her set to be in peoples living rooms. She claims to be a spokesperson for women and their ambitions, struggles, failures and successes. It would appear that her support for women is limited. Which of you believes that had Obama put Hillary on his ticket, that Oprah would have barred her from the show.

You're right that Oprah has rights; I couldn't agree more. But she is hypocritic none the less.

Thanks so much for your visit. Come again. (:-

Hey there Gray Ghost,

you are so right on. Tolle is indeed an idiot and Oprah is not too bright either. (I'm sure they don't agree, of course.) The sad thing is that Oprah has so much influence and uses it to mislead her worshiping throngs. These two are apt to find out the hard way that there is indeed only one path to redemption and that those who don't follow it will end up in a very real hell.

BTW, your take on Heaven sounds heavenly to me too. I sure wouldn't mind having a visit with hero Alvin York.

Thanks for visiting. Drop by anytime.

Bobbie

I'm pulling the lever for this election, stop by....

Hey Bobbi

nice place you got here.

Yes, Oprah's one of those vague "spiritual" people. What it boils down to is that she believes that everything in the Universe is One, ergo, she believes in herself. This is what "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne is about.

I admire Oprah's business savvy but I feel bad for her otherwise. The seed has been planted but she chooses to ignore it.

Why?

I was clicking through the channels last night and was listening to some of these entertainment reporters. They were actually debating the topic of Oprah vs. Palin. The comments were so ridiculous. One even said it would give Palin credibility. Excuse me? She is a freaking Governor, she does not need Oprah's stamp of approval.

I have never understood Oprah's following. I have not seen her show in so many years.

Jennifer: I agree that if McCain/Palin don't make it to the White House, she will go back to Alaska and continue being a Governor. If they do make it to the White House, I don't think her first priority will be to go on Oprah.

Scarlet & Sue

You both nailed it. Oprah does indeed believe in herself.........to the extreme. Governor Palin, if I'm not mistaken, will be way to busy to mess with Oprah once this is over with, and I agree that she doesn't need Oprah's stamp of approval.

Thank you both for dropping by. Enjoyed your visit and your comments.

Bobbie

ditto'ditto, and DITTO!!The oprah machine has rusty turbines. GREAT points-ALL true!!

Crossbow,

Thank you kind sir. Appreciate your visit & comments. Come again.

Petition

I have actually gotten a couple of petitions to sign to get Gov Palin on Oprah. Sorry, I want Gov Palin to stay the way she is and not sit on a couch with a fake/phoney.

I think that she can live without the stamp of approval by Oprah. I think a lot of the American people are giving that to her.

Sue, I agree.

For Gov. Palin to go on Oprah's show would be rewarding her hypocrisy. I'm with you girl. Oprah can just go fly a kite.

Thanks for the stop-by.

I Wish Oprah Would Go Away

I have a really hard time being friends with anyone who watches Oprah or reads her magazine.

You are right about her!

Oprah

I am getting tired of hearing about Oprah. I don't understand her following myself.

I just wish people get off the topic of Gov Palin going on Oprah. She doesn't need to have Oprah's approval. Ugh!

Squiddy & sue,

We're on the same page on this issue; along with lots of others. Oprah is enduring a huge backlash for her stance on Sarah. Lots of women out there calling for a blackball of her show and her magazine. Good for them and good for us.

Thanks for stopping by.
