Our freedom is more important than some kind of protection from financial WMDs that may or may not be there.

Eagles catch snakes and rodents. Bears fish for salmon. People struggle to survive. We don't need Nancy Pilosi to save us.

Thanks for the response.

I think the analogy to Iraq is very interesting because the decision to go to war at that time was a huge financial mistake of a comparable upfront dollar value, and was based on a similar lack of clarity in reasoning.

This bail out will definitely cost us far, far more than a mere war in the long run if it is passed.
