It's good to hear from you again. I have had an extended Christmas holiday but back to work last Monday. What with Republican betrayal and the new Obamanation, I've had very little to say.

You might say, I'm ASTONISHED! Right now there is too much speculation about where we're headed and not much in the way of factual material, though I'm tending to believe the speculation.

Hey, Bob`s Nephew! You are not alone in your despair. Beyond PEBO as CIC, the economic crisis, universal health care, card check, Pantsuit at State, ad nauseum, I am more concerned about what happens on January 20, with the Israel/Hamas conflict. It seems to be escalating and that traitorous, treacherous rag, the NYT, has published more "secrets" which will only harm Israel and, ultimately, us! They surely did it to harm President Bush, once again. I remember the Iranians released the hostages after the inaugeral of Ronald Reagan. I fear what they will "release" after the swearing in of amabO.

These are the times we must take joy in the simple pleasures of family, friends, pets, electricity and running water. All the best to you in 2009, my friend!

Even though I have some reservations and fears about what's coming, I still have a generally positive attitude. I know who wins. I read the last Book.

I have no idea (ok maybe quite a perceptive idea) of what this year will hold, but I hope that it all works in our favor for 2010...

and a LOT of work for us to do!! I saw the hearings about Clinton and quite frankly am disgusted with Rebublicans. Is ther ANYONE who will stand up for us??

I think if we imagine the worst, we can be pleasantly surprised when/if it doesn't happen. But if it does, we will always have "I told you so".

While I know without a doubt that God is ultimately in charge of all things and that Satan can never defeat Him, I look at what our country has become and wonder if we're not under God's judgment for having wandered so far from Him. I wonder if he isn't about to give us a good hard spanking by allowing us to suffer the consequences of our weaknesses; i.e; allowing liberalism to take such a hold. Christian Congregants, and Pastors alike, are far too quiet in our country. I just hope that we will speak up where it counts and encourage everybody we know to do the same. I am convinced that if Christian Pastors across the nation would have stood together with their congregations and spoke up and informed the electorate of the evils embedded in politics, we'd have a different President Elect today.

We've got a hard row to hoe to get our countrymen to speak up where it counts.

I am tired of hearing that Obama is going to be the best guy ever because everything is historic, so that means he will be the greatest ever. Ugh!

I think he will attempt to over reach quite soon. If he is going to run around and say that he is closing Gitmo, then tell us up front where you are moving all of these American haters to, because I don't want them in our backyard nor do I want to pay for their legal representation!

"Obama can save us, says America as polls show wave of optimism sweeping the nation". This is getting ridiculous.

I guess its understandable for us all to be down about the election and Obama taking over tomorrow, i know I sure have been down but soon its time to start over for 2010 and take back Congress. If we can make inroads in just one House of Congress we have lots to look forward to!!

I'm just wishing for some spinal fortitude in elected Republicans. Some of those guys need to show the others how its done.

Your socialist predicitons are beginning to take effect already. Recall the words of Alexander Hamilton, which eerily seem applicable to "The O":

We must keep up the good fight, to spread truth and dispel the myths (like the myth that the pending bill has anything to do with "stimulating the economy").
