Liberals and big cities

Isn't it funny that in areas where law-abiding citizens can legally carry concealed weapons, the crime is always lower. And isn't it also funny that the highest crime areas are SO often major cities where liberals and gun control are the order of the day? Just look at New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC... I could go on.

Why is this? Could it be because liberals are so rabidly in favor of gun control despite the fact that IT DOESN'T WORK? Could it be because they arrogantly refuse to acknowledge that an armed populace keeps the criminal element at bay, and violent crime levels down more than government regulation ever could?
