America and Europe III: How Europe Sees the Rest of the World

Man!

You write a lot, but you don't really say sh*t. Ever consider an editor? Ever consider considering?

Again, I have to disagree

The Litvinenko case is a glaring example only of Russian aggression. This was hardly a mutual misunderstanding or a pointless diplomatic spat. And Europe´s response has been the obligatory minimum for domestic consumption. In other words, Putin is getting away with it. I do not really mean to say that Europe should do more - that is their problem. But if Bush had said and done half the things Putin has said and done - and I´m assuming that you follow these things - people would be rightly foaming at the mouth.

As for the assertion that Iran is trying to reform itself - well, good luck, I really hope you won´t have to eat those words. Again, the European response is strictly for show. Or do diplomatic necessities impress you that much? America has sanctions, Germany has export subsidies which benefit Iran. These things count. The bigger question is: do you want Iran to become a nuclear power or not? You sound like the answer is "whatever".
