Also, have You noticed that "add" has grown in direct proportion to the less discipline there is in school and home?

Absolutely I have. I never heard of ADD when I was a kid, and I'm not ancient. It's not only the lack of discipline at school and at home on the rise with ADD "cases" on a parallel course, it's the lack of ability to discipline kids. A few weeks ago I saw a mom spank her kid's bottom for getting out of line. I heard another woman scorn her for hitting her kid. I told her to mind her own business. Over time we have given discipline over to understanding. Understanding has given over to kids getting way out of line and not understanding boundaries. Now many of them have grown up into adults with childlike issues. We brought it on ourselves.
