Hello, AOW . . . thank you for stopping by. Several legislators have made critical statements or expressed concerns about CAIR, but no one seems to be doing anything substantial to monitor their activities. Meanwhile, Grover Norquist continues to be a White House insider.

If our government remains inept with respect to foreign diplomacy, what should we expect with regard to the dangers from "within?"

Just two of the reasons we moved from CA were Boxer and Finestein. If you add Woolsey and really awful congresswoman who "represents" Compton (I ought to be able to recall her name as she's been there a very long time...either my memory is slipping or I have selectively put her ought of my mind).

The California of my youth is very long gone. The politicians are a major part of the problem. They seek power and desire to keep it. The "professional" politician is, comparatively speaking, a relatively new thing in America. Sure there were some...but most didn't enter and do a thirty year+ career.

My son-in-law and my daughter, both born in CA also plan to leave. Fewer and fewer people of a certain type can really stand how politically awful it has become.

That she receives a significant salary and a host of perks for what she does is....there truly is no word(s) for it.

Interesting that you should mention Grover Norquist. I heard the other day that Condi Rice was meeting with him--possibly to discuss her viability as McCain's running mate.

BTW, Boxer's deprecatory statement about CAIR happened about a year ago. It wasn't "last night," as I misstated in my earlier comment.

Yeah? Well AOW, it'll take many more statements like that to nullify the countless idiotic things she has said and done over the years.

As Tad says, thanks to her the Golden State has been laid to waste. It is not the California of my youth either. And I won't tell you what I think the "gold" has turned to.

It is just sickening. The snivelling politicians all of them when the only interest they share is their own political game and name.

I do not like one of these people. Boxer is a dhimmi just like Pelosi - I call them the Dhimmi Sister. As for Maliki - I do not trust him.
