I was in Fred's corner from the start, and am so unimpressed with the remaining candidates that I don't intend to vote for any of them.

Still- Fred dropped out, and for good reason: he couldn't win, brokered convention or not. However unfairly the media and pundits treated him, the fact is that he ran a disorganized, ineffective campaign.

Considering how lousy McCain and Romney are, I can't blame Thompson's supporters for voting for him anyways- but it'll be viewed as a protest vote at best. He's done. Let his campaign Rest In Peace.
