The election will not change things

With New England having no GOP Reps in the House, it means that the South is the only solid red area. Maybe we can call the GOP party now the White Trash Party!

I think that things are so bad for them that I would advise them to all join the Democratic party (this did happen after the Federalists went under and before the Whigs got power). I think that the country would probably be more conservative on things such as Political Correctness, Immigration while retaining what (at least I think) are laudable goals like making sure workers can organize and that we have some industrial base. Such a mass party might even be able to push through legislation which would allow nuclear power plants (how in Gods name do we allow nuclear weapons and powed ships to be at all coastal places in America -- but we are afraid of a power plant which is not designed to destroy).
