The Politics of Profit

The Libs/Progressives used the same tactics with the oil industry, alluding constantly to record profits in the billions, but in actuality reflected very moderate margins. The real greed, in both cases, is the frenzy that this tactic riles up with middle- and lower-class voters. It's an old Alinsky trick.
