Guess which GOP contender gets a 67% rating from the ACLU? (it ain't Rudy McRomney)

Blind Devotion leads to pitfalls

Most of your points are answered by simply reading and understanding the Constitution. I'm sorry to point this out to you but a President of the United States takes an Oath to uphold the Constitution not the Bible.

Was Dwight Eisenhower a Communist when he warned of the Military-Industrial Complex in his farewell address?

And this one: "Claims that the hordes of America-hating invaders overrunning us - as well as our mortal Chinese communist enemies - are "scapegoats" for our own misdeeds?"

What happened to do onto others as you would have them do unto you? Bombing and sanctioning other countries because you don't like them will create a lot of enemies. That sort of interventionism is no different than domestic interventionism. The government sticking it's nose where it does not belong used to be a "Liberal" position which you have no problem railing against.

This sort of hypocrisy is laughable.

I'll spell it out for you NEOCON=LIBERAL.

I take it then...

"It's always been their aim to hamstring and decimate our military - with gays, women on the front lines, Carterian and Clintonista defense cuts, Kerry-style opposition to all weapons systems, Vietnam third comluns, and the like. The last thing the evil ones want to do is support our military."

So you would rather see NeoCons hamstring our military by repeated deployments with hardly but a vacation back at home. Or maybe by extending their tours, or cutting back on the amount paid to the disabled, because why spend money on those quitters who left the war? Or better yet send all of the reservists/guardsmen so that we have only a fledgling national defense actually in the nation.

How about flooding Iraq with nearly the same amount of well paid contractors/mercenaries who are not accountable to Congress and The People, because that sends a great message to our troops.

Perhaps the best is yet to come. Perhaps sending troops into Iran to "help" our Israel buddies is just the next step in world domination, I mean Imperialism, er um our imperialeeismist.

"A rose by any other name......"

The sad truth

is that the Military Industrial Complex as a business likes to sell goods to the Military, the more goods they sell the more money they make. Every bomb, bullet and boot puts our money into their pocket. More service members on the battlefield requires more logistics support and more of our money is spent. When body armor is damaged a replacement is needed.

I am sure that a great deal of profit is made on every new service member. The initial G.I. is substantial. Then the training that follows also adds to the start-up costs.

War is a Racket.

You do realize "they" are open about being Neo-Cons right? I'm not making this up here. Ron Paul supporters have been called many names but "Neocon"? Please do some research.
