A Gift From Ted

Just finished reading

Enemy & Gift. Both good posts. The best gift we got from Ted is that he won't be around any more to make our hair stand on end with his bad behavior. I couldn't stand to watch TV for 3 days while MSM (and even FOX) treated this monstrosity like some kind of hero. Too disgusting.

Keep up the good work, Sarge.

good post

Not much Teddy really did great.. He was good at using his family name to get things though.

I didn't watch any news for a few days either. Kind of sad that they devoted that much time to a complete scoundrel. He and his ilk deserve only one thing...the boot.

Sarge, Now That Teddy Has Taken a Dirt..

nap, perhaps we will see less of the "Kennedy" name in the news. After 48 years of seeing it, I am getting alittle tired of it.

Teddy was a POS. He had no morals. He would spit on the Pope to save his own neck. Why the Catholic Church didn't excommunicate him years ago is beyond me.

As for the healthcare bill, the Democrats and Obama have too much invested in the bill as it stands nows to make any changes.

The more they push for it, the faster AND lower they sink! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We can bury Teddy AND Liberalism!

Gray

As a Catholic myself, I wondered how he got away with calling himself a Catholic, same as Pelosi and Kerry. The news that he actively sought to help Andropov against Reagan isn't even surprising considering all of the other evils he was involved in.

Good riddance.

As far as the bill goes, you are probably right, but if they ram it thru, kiss the dem party goodbye forever. Either way, they are hemorraghing support. Serves them right...

Thanks for stopping by and for the thoughtful comments.

Georgetwin

You nailed it. I think we can do it...

Thanks for dropping by, buddy.

Excellent Commentary on Ted

Well done and highly illuminating.

A good crisis

Is what Teddy surrounded himself with, so your suggestion makes perfect sense to me.

Can Byrd be far behind? Not wishing for it or anything...just saying.

I did the Christian thing, which was to keep silent about Kennedy for several days after his death. I think that's just polite, but I also believe in honesty. Bobbie's right, even Fox painted a rosy picture of his history. Maybe they just didn't want to be clipped and taken out of context by being honest with his history, or they were just being extra polite. Did Kennedy fight for the little guy? As long as he didn't have to actually sacrifice anything he had he sure did. He'd tax the rich, but had offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands which can't be taxed (like fellow Massite Kerry). He wanted mills all over the place, as long as it wasn't in Nantucket Sound. The list can go no and on.

Good on ya for holding your tongue out of deference to the passed.

I was biting mine the whole time.

The ugly truth is forthcoming, beginning with the re-introduction of the Andropov letter. I'm sure there is plenty more worse than that to come.

Byrd ?

Old as dirt, but the dirt is more useful, commonly makes more sense, and never cries when discussing dogs.

Gar

All true. Maybe there will be a Kennedy that can take his place as well.

A Very Well Deserved Dirt Nap!

Great blog and thread, Sgt. Stryker! As senator, he was a monster, a fraud, a phony and a fake and a heartless soul to leave Mary Jo to die a lonely, cold and terrifying death. Nothing can change that! His endorsement of prezbo during that neverending camPAIN has put upon our nation the most unqualified, incompetent, narcisstic, arrogant and clueless community organizer in chief. Just come on out and make another speech, prezboy! Teddy will not be missed. Looking forward to the day when I won`t miss the speechifier!

dawndawn

Very true. I read yesterday where he talks in his memoir about the guilt he felt about MJ Kopechne. Sadly, he felt it was ok to joke about it for most of his life. Not sure how much remorse was really there. Anticipation of acheiving room temp has a funny way of putting things in perspective, though.
I'm sure he's getting his just desserts now. Thanks for stopping and commenting.

Kennedy

I have to say the coverage did make me turn the channel. I was really disappointed in Shephard Smith when he was discussing Ted and his "legacy." He talked about the accident and just said "the girl" or something to that effect. He could not even say her name? The woman is gone.

I do not wish anyone ill will and I am sure that Ted did not have a fun time with the brain cancer. But I was tired of hearing how he was this great American hero. I guess I missed that. I was not born when John Kennedy was killed. But my mother was a Kennedy fan. She never uttered bad words about him until about 10 years ago. She never had a nice thing to say about Ted.

I read the Ted article with newsweek online. He actually mentioned rationing, but the media missed it all.

Oh Yeah?

"Kennedycare will be completely bi-partisan, targeted, easy to understand and implement."

You can dream but these idiots wont ever come up with anything decent.

Gar

I'm good, been traveling quite a bit and putting in a lot of hrs. Also coaching my son's bball team and watching my other son play. Not much time for much else.

Thanks for asking, though.

Life is good

I was just wondering. Take care and be blessed.
