I confess - I am a bigot sort of!

Dear Knight,

A bigot is "a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own".

I am tolerant of some things and intolerant of others.

Marriages between a man and a woman of different races, ethnicity and religion are great with me.

Considered and cordial discussions on opinions - political, religious, philosophical, ethical and scientific I am fine with and look forward to.

In terms of lifestyles I am against sodomy, beastiality, incest, alcoholism, drug addiction (illegal or prescription), and pedophilia.

I am for the healthy lifestyle of traditional marriage.

If you have something you want to add to this discussion, other than name calling, please do.

lol
ROFL.
Now how do you lump all that together?
Thanks, I needed a chuckle.
Here's my lifestyle, Work, play, family, community, live honestly. And yes, those are choices, lifestyle choices.
Yes, commited relationships are healthy.
Here is my rub. First off, no one chooses to be gay. Bout the stupidest thing out there.
The choice is to live honestly or not.
I'd be fine with civil unions. As a card carrying American, I recok I pay equal dues, including signing up for the draft when asked to, I sould get equal benefits and responsibilities. Simple, no? A rational look around will find that when these rights and responsibilities are applied equally to all citizens, the result has been non newsworthy. The people who are able to better take care of themselves, without any government help is increased. That's the big news. Whatev. I don't get why fiscal conservatives don't get that angle.
