Is The War In Iraq Immoral?

Let me give this another shot!

We attacked and invaded Iraq to give Afghanistan a democratic ally in the neighborhood since Israel would be unable to help Afghanistan due to the cultural conflicts that exist between the two countries - no fault to the Israelies. Israel would be VERY likely to assist Afghanistan, but Israel knows that her hands are tied if another Islamic country were to kick up some dust and antagonize Afghanistan.

Had we not removed Saddam from power, it would have been, more than likely, Iraq that kicked up the most dust and threatened Afghanistan. With its oil-for-weapons deal that it had with the U.N., it would have been able to muster enough forces to topple the infant and fragile democracy that is taking root in Afghanistan.

There is also a geographical benefit to invading Iraq and Afghanistan and installing a democracies there.

The Iranians will look east and west and see democracies on their borders and see the people of these countries living and thriving under a democracy and want this for their families and themselves.

The Iranian leadership will resist this, of course, much to the chagrin of its people.

Another reason why the Dims are not fighting this "war" is that this effort is the result of GWB rewriting the domino theory, and the LAST thing the Dims want to see is a knuckle-dragging, poorly-spoken, redneck, hillbilly writing the book in the '00s on how to build democracies when the Dims BIG guys, JFK and LBJ, couldn't do it in the '60s.

If only Billy Bob Clinton weren't so interested in getting his knob polished in the Oval Office in the '90s, he may have seen the threat that Islamofacism represented and he may have lead the U.S. to victory in Iraq or Afghanistan, and 9/11 would never have happened.
