Sotomayor: The True Reason for Picking Her

Sotomayor

I found the article on Sotomayor very interesting and look forward to reading more from this young fellow Conrado Brenna. I would also share with Townhall bloggers a question for further discussion: do past credentials have high correlation with future performance?

A sharp mind, Conrad!

This is good thinking from a young fella. Undoubtedly, Sotomayor has had trememdous accomplishments in her career and honoring the spirit of this country, her nomination proves once again that the american dream reaches far and wide across all sectors and races in the best spirit of our founding fathers. However, Conrad raises an interesting idea in that an hispanic nominee would score much better among the hispanic population... and we would do well to remember that it is this commmunity the one that will become the largest minority in the US in the very near future.

Hoping to read more of your thoughts, Conrad!

Sotomayor nomination

It's a very interesting blog , I am not living in the States now, therefore I cant't give my opinion concerning Mrs.Sotomayor nomination, but any way I'll read more about it./ Hope to hear again from you
Erna

Thank you! And for further discussion...

I very indeed appreciate all of your comments and views! It is very true, that among the present and biggest minorities are the hispanics. I also do wonder, if in the future the Asian population living in the United States (which might be just as big as the Hispanic population) might determine nominations just like this one. Any ideas?
