Can Girlie Men Review Movies for Real Men?

Absolutely true. I get better advice from the stars system on Netflix than from any of the "professional" reviewers. For example, I like Steven Seagal movies. I know he can't act, the plots are thin, and the production values are crap - but the good guy wins and he kicks a** all over the place. In fact, you probably could decide that a movie would appeal to you (or me) if one of the girly-men chops it to pieces. Anyway, great post - loaded with truth!

Real men don't like chic flicks, Ghandi-style movies or anything with a woman's name in the title. On the other hand, Gangs of New York, Die Hard, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellows, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Layercake, Godfather (parts l&ll), and of course, Blazing Saddles, Caddyshack and Animal House are standard fare in my house - all men except me (4 sons and husband). Consequently, I can't stand chick flicks, and thank my boys from the bottom of my heart.
