Rebuking the Flip-Flop Charge

Thanks Ryan.

Lets hope the groundswell were starting to hear is real and fast enough to stop Huck and McCain. Huck knows exactly what he is doing - he has no chance. But won't give up because he' bee promised the veep seat. But he'll be surpised when the straight talker pulls another u-ie and reaches across the aisle for his running mate.

Now, if all the mitt haters would leave the room, it would be so nice and quiet!

Mitt the straight shooter

Romney has been the most consistent on the issues. If you look closer you will find this is the case. He has been unfairly smeared by the liberal media because he was a great governor and they can't go after him legitimately on his record.

the other flip flop

that Mitt wasn't a lifetime member in the NRA is just flat out wrong, he can show you the receipt from his payment from last summer when he joined this illustrious group.

Thanks!

Great discussion of the facts. Unfortunatley, those who claim Mitt is a Flip-Flopping will not care to see the facts.

Are you all mormons?

I can listen to Mitt himself, he is a liar. He talks to the American people like they are inept employees. He himself has said, and I heard it straight from his lips: I do not agree with the NRA. I will not further the pro-life movement. I am for destroying embryos for research. He raised taxes, which he calls fees. You can fall for that if you want. Where is he conservative? Hopefully this is the last day I'll have to hear about Mitt, hopefully he will take his money and disappear.

I'm down to number four

When this race started I supported Hunter as the most conservative and strong borders champion running. When he didn't catch on, I moved to Tancredo, same result. I backed Thompson and was very disappointed when he didn't come out swinging at the moderates, but he is gone as well.

Romney was my next and last stop. It is unfortunate that the nature of the process doesn't allow for the kinds of points you make in your essay, however, I have said elsewhere that the fact that Romney has shown a willingness to alter his position on issues is a plus. McCain, if nominated, will take that as validation of all of the decidedly unconservative actions he has perpetrated. "Amnesty" John is not the kind of guy who will be swayed by something as trivial as the will of the people.

I would have to debate your assessment of fees not being taxes. I own a business and provide services, but the ability to mandate the use of my services is a business benefit that I don't enjoy. Nor do I get the cost of daily operation funded by my customers whether they use my services or not. Government has no other source of funds but taxes, anything which produces funds for the state is a tax. Make no mistake, fees feel just like taxes.

On a brighter note, it now looks like the Virginia primary will actually count this time, so I will have a chance to vote for Romney if he is still on the ballot.

on-the-fencers

Well I showed it to some people who were iffy about Romney and afterward they said they would definitely vote for him.
