Glory in shame…

A respectful belief

It is quite obvious you have a real love of God in your life and I have all the respect in the world for that. I would respectfully say that not knowing certain people personally can give a false impression of those people. Knowing gays myself, I can assure you that they are a diverse group with many varying beliefs.

Christopher

I can't speak for Valiant but I can for myself. I know gays and work with some. When it comes to biblical teachings however, it matters not how great people or how much good they do. What matters is what is written in Scripture about how we should live as those who have Faith in Christ. Many people believe in evolution yet that is not what the Bible teaches us so for those who have Faith in Christ, we accept and follow that God created the heavens and the earth. Along this line we also follow that God created man and woman so man should not be alone but have a helpmeet.

Flattery not welcome...

Flame, your comments are most welcome.

Christopher, you can drop the flattery. Flame has said it well. It comes down to whether we fear God or fear men.

We may argue over whether the Bible is the word of God, but can we be honest as to what it says.

My complaint is not so much against the sodomites except when they blaspheme the name of Christ and His church. The real objection is with the vain philosophy that is preached in every public classroom in the country.

If you believed that Romans 1 meant what it says, would you warn your friends by speaking the truth to them in love? Those that glory in their shame have been ‘given over’ and in my opinion are beyond rescue, but I want to be wrong about that. For sure they cannot be helped if we withhold the truth from them and normalize their sin.

Rule One: Be Nice

Valiant, I'm sorry. I've discussed numerous topics with multiple people, but you are by far the most rude person I've encountered.

Beware...

I have it on good authority that we cannot expect all men to speak well of us…

‘Beware when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets.’ [Luke 6:26]

My intent is not to be rude, but to speak truth in a generation that is offended by truth. I have tried to explain why, but you would not hear it.

Perhaps you would give me an example of how you would speak truth in love. Regards.

Christopher

Given some of the issues you support on your blog, I'm not surprised that you find Valiant rude. You wouldn't have liked Jesus either because He would have looked into your heart and seen where all that cess comes from.
