The first 94 days of the Obama presidency hasn't entertained me, hasn't made me smile, hasn't made me chuckle. Between now and the end of April (when it'll be 100 days) he could still do it.

It makes you wonder why they want to change our position in the world as the number one country, number one economy, and a freedom that many around the world do not enjoy. You'd think they'd want to preserve this country the way it is, but these guys live in an alternate world, and to us Americans, it couldn't be worse. As an old timer who remembers Mussolini, he made the trains run on time: can you imagine listing all of these actions, laws, executive orders and change of policy, and not being called a socialist pacifist????? Our military cuts remind one of Carter and later Clinton. Our domestic spending reminds one of LBJ and of course, FDR. Fox could have also made up a list: it chose not too and that is too bad. I am awaiting MSNBC's list which will look like a Castro-Chavez-Mao trio of changes and hope. And when Fox polls have him at 63%, I feel like Dante's Inferno: abandon all hope entering here! These are dangerous times. What we have here is a runaway freight train in the name of Barry "Almighty". But then, many of us saw this coming. I was young with Carter, but my parents gritted their teeth through it all. I did go to a Ford rally when he was running against Carter. I don't remember that, but my sister does.

I do remember Carter giving that speech in the oval office with his sweater on. My dad told us we had to watch it. My mom went outside and I think was actually screaming. :)

Oh my parents did get their letters (nice waste of money) that they will get their one time $250 bonus from Social Security. According to the letter, it comes some time at the end of May! So watch the bank accounts grow!
