I agree and I am bafffled as to why the talk show hosts don;t get it. This is not about Hillary, never was. Obama is where he is because he realized that his opposition, political and ideological all play by the same old rules of engagement, focused on ideology and issues. The old school thinks "ideas" have to be factual and described in detail. Obama realizes, like Reagan, that "hope" and "change" are ideas, more powerful than tax breaks and immigration and specific issues. And Obama may have taken some pages out of the Peron and Castro model as well as Reagan by focusing his message of "hope" and " change" to the masses. He seees the American peoples less than 20% satisfaction with Congress and realized they don't want another beltway bureacrat. Obama has been smart enough to exploit this void, this American cry for a leader, any leader who might lead them out of this imprisonment by the traditional political parties and their empty rhetoric and failed leadership that just doesn't get it. Obama is vulnerable but he has no reason to fear the old school opposition like Hillary. John McCain needs to do his homework. Talk show hosts need to stop acting "amazed" and start talking about what Obama's grand hopes and change mean in real terms, where Government and bureaucrats becomes the "keeper" of us all.
