I know it is a record buy far but we are somewhere in the 90 filibuster range for this congress.

Do the republicans realize that their compromise leverage is going way down if the Dems get 60 in the Senate?

The F&F problem besides being privatized is that China is a major stockholder. 30% range, I think.

The oil drilling thing is Enronesce in that Big Oil has no desire for more supply. They would like more leases to pump up their balance sheets, but why in the world would they want lower gas prices?

Yup, we are being scammed by the big bucks guys. and they have no prejudice as to political leanings of the source of the green.
