The trouble with Paul is that he is a well meaning dupe, blinded by the philosophy of free trade that he picked up and dogmatically internalized when reading the Austrian economists.
Free trade is the very means to achieve a world government. But don't take it from me; it is the one and only thing that all of those CFR members and other globalists agree on.
100% compliance on free trade.
As Bastiat put it, what he desired was the 'general philosophy of free trade' which would create a "one world, ecumenical, indissoluble union of the peoples of the world".
You have to hold a tremendous cognitive dissonance to think that economic nationalism is not required to achieve political nationalism. Stated otherwise, economic independence could be destroyed, but political independence could be maintained? Hardly.
