We need to overturn the 16th amendment. And while we are at it, let's get rid of the 17th too, for the 17th (ratified in 1913) set the stage for the incredible incursion by the federal government into the states' rights by having senators chosen as if they were beauty pagent contestants

Then the Fair Tax makes sense

It's a sad day for Mainers as, once again, Snowe and Collins have violated our trust. There has got to be a way to get them out of office. I'm afraid Mainers our constantly lulled to sleep by the "we're not as bad as democrats" campaign strategy. Maybe this time we'll get angry enough to shake things up. I wish there was something we could do before the next election.
