In my experience the only thing dividing democrats and conservatives is the idea of limited government, a strong national defense, and government social engineering, outside of those areas we do share an interest in some sports teams.

I'm not convinced that democrat voters, particularly the young voters, really understand the pain that is in store for them when the bill comes due for these outrageous spending bills and new entitlements.

GOP politicians seem willing to throw just about anything overboard to regain power. So be it, but they will have to do without my vote.

After nearly forty years laboring in the trenches of the GOP, in early '06 I got a divorce with no alimony payments. If the GOP comes back this way I'll get back aboard.

I've been on American Solutions before but I will never get the image out of my mind of "Green" Newt playing slap n' tickle with Red Nanny on that couch on the beach. Newt is just not somebody I can get behind. Check out Senator DeMint's website and watch the video of his floor speech about the Tea Parties.
