Governor Palin’s Speech Hits The Bull’s-eye, But She Better Watch Her Back

Watching Your Back

Great post, Valletta... and a good warning. Commentators pointed out tonight that fund raising for the Republicans as a result of Palin's speech was over a million dollars. Unfortunately, the Democrats had garnered near 10 million. Palin struck a nerve and has got them running. Let's hope that her (and now McCain's) acceptance speech strikes a nerves of American's who love their country. Now the hard work begins. Keep up the insightful comments.

Good Post

BuT I think its the press that shoudl watch their step. SHe has resonated and attacks on her will backfire.

Hi TRV!

I do not particularly vote for women, but have been feeling discouraged up till now, thinking that our country was incapable of producing a female politician of the calibur of Margaret Thatcher.

I am happy to see that I was wrong. Sarah "Barracuda" Palin is truly a Pitt Bull with lipstick and a fancy collar!!!

Good to see you.

The media are dying to destroy Palin, but she has proven she has grit. They don't know what's coming.

It's amazing that Repubs have to fight the dems AND the leftist media.

Welcome back!

Good to see you'll be haunting the blog scene again.

Your post is right on the money (no being rusty for you!). I have this feeling of confidence that the McCain team knows exactly what to expect. This wasn't a rash decision on McCain's part, or Palin's. I can't imagine she agreed without having a sense of the attacks to come. The sense I have is that they will continue to let the press and Democrats make fools of themselves and swat away the mudpies with grace and humor. Most definitely the race is going to get uglier between now and November. The McCain campaign will win out if it can maintain the discipline demonstrated thus far.
