Eliminate Marriage?

Let's face this thing head on.....It's not about gay rights, gay marriages, civil unions and the such. It's about money, money, money!! This whole issue of gay marriage or civil unions is based solely on gays wanting to have the same material rights as traditional marrige...Not rights in the sense of acknowledgement of their marriage and the things that come with that. The issue is truly about, for example, a gay couple being afforded family plans on health care and support in divorce court when it all fails. Being able to get compensated in the tax area like filing jointly and such. Community property states can have a ball with this stuff! Come on, lets not butter it up to something it is not. Now, who will grab this bull by the horns??
