Democrats Whine About President's Speech

President Bush's Speech..

It will be interesting, or perhaps predictable, to see what will happen if the full court press tactics of the rabid left fail in November and they do not win the House. Riots? Sedition? Watts 3? (A tax revolt would be ineffective from the liberal isle.) Will Nancy Pelosi resign so they can find somebody even farther to the radical left?? Maybe they can draft Daniel Ortega as Democratic Chair and hope for more of the illegal alien vote.

Let us be clear that the far left will lie any lie, perform any disgusting act, create any situation, praise any criminal or support any enemy of the US in their feverish goal of grunting and grabbing lost political power.

Here's the Thing

First, let me say that I don't disagree with anything that you said. Most importantly, I'm here to predict that their efforts will not only fail; they'll fail miserably. In fact, I'm predicting that we'll gain 1 or 2 seats in the Senate and between 5 & 10 seats in the House. Here's why:

I've been noticing fissures starting to show in the black monolith, due in part to Ken Mehlman's 'Conversations With the Community' series, where he'd visit traditionally black colleges like Morgan State, Jackson State, Grambling & Alcorn A & M.

It's also worth noting that there's some extra-vulnerable Democratic House members, the biggest of which is John Murtha. Murtha doesn't know it yet but, politically speaking, he's a dead man walking. Murtha 'represents' a district where 18% of the registered voters are active or reserve duty or retired military. His Haditha statements aren't sitting well with his constituents. Additionally, Diana Irey is running a letter-perfect race.

My advice to conservatives is to not buy into the notion that this is going to be a tough year for Republicans. If I had a dollar for every pundit that's used the term 'demoralized' or 'dispirited' base where it doesn't apply, I'd be a wealthy man right now.
