Murtha, Rather, Shulzberg, Penn, and Momma Dupe actually believe the hogwash but are not savvy nor cynical in their misunderstanding of human nature and good and evil. Pelosi and Kerry believe to a strong degree but are also savvy and B.S.ers. Hilary and Moore are just plain shysters who'd sell their mother for money, fame and power. McKinney and Durbin are overeducated idiots who are dishonest enough to sell the people manure and tell 'em it's cake. Their constituents eat it up too.

What a set of ugly characters! I almost spilt my coffee when this multi-faceted Glimpse of Evil drifted out of the screen and oozed onto my keyboard.

It might be of some interest to look at the E. R. Murrow/ Walter Conkrite/Dan Rather Sequence and note how closely the three conform to the far left's authorized political standards and edicts. E.R.M., hisself, was some kind of apologist for Stalin and put up a fierce attack on anybody who tried to expose Communism. He also defended a few Commies or two. The Venona documents expose one of his 'best friends' who commited suicide because ERM said he was hounded because of his alleged Communist background. Venona shows him to have been a Commie. I wonder if Murrow was one too. Of course, Walter Conkrite declared the Tet Offensive a 'failure' in Jan 1968 while I was there. That helped the Viet Cong [mostly dead at the time] celebrate some form of 'victory.' Dan Rather never hesitated to attack anybody from the moderate center to the far right when he could. He thought he was on some form of 'holy mission' to expose real Americans and influence the election. He was fired in disgrace along the Mary Mapes. He is finished now.

This is just part of a long series of activists like Walter Duranty who seem to belive they can stuff the editorial pages or books with pro Marxist propaganda and remove the truth.

Luckily, we live in a world of vast, instant communications and can respond quickly now to the leftists who would offer their crude propaganda in lieu of the news. In the FDR days, Rush would have been jailed for his comments. It is interesting that W. F. Buckeley, Jr. survived. Perhaps they were asleep and failed to recognize the danger. Many have tried to get Rush over some prescription drugs and such. They did get to De Lay. Newt was essentially forced out.

Any firm response to the far left in this country results in abuse and a backlash. Fine. I accept the challenge. Keep up the good work. Post some more uglies--it helps stimulate awareness on the November Election.
